Ezekiel Charles Loishooki is a young Tanzanian artist working under the name EzekielArt. His practice begins with close observation and the patience to build form one mark at a time.

Through Voice of Piece, his art is becoming more than a private studio practice. It is a way to connect artists, share opportunity and help Tanzanian creative voices reach beyond the places where they began.

Working under the name EzekielArt, the young Tanzanian artist builds luminous animal portraits from thousands of deliberate pen strokes.

His work asks us to pause long enough to notice protection, trust, family and the quiet intelligence of another living being.
